On Super Bowl Sunday, Beyoncé treated fans to a series of teaser videos, building anticipation for the long-awaited second part of her 2022 RENAISSANCE. To the delight of her supporters, RENAISSANCE: Act II will arrive much sooner than expected. This forthcoming album will mark the singer's eighth studio album. Beyoncé took to her Instagram account to share the news, unveiling not only the album title, Act II but also its official release date. She also previewed a snippet of the new track, "Texas Hold ‘Em," which showcases a country-themed sound, serving as both a nod to the popular poker game and her home state.
Shortly thereafter, the two songs, "Texas Hold 'Em" and "16 Carriages," became available on streaming platforms, first on Tidal before being officially released along with accompanying visuals on YouTube. "Texas Hold 'Em," featuring a lively combination of acoustic guitars, bass drums, and Beyoncé's powerful vocals, captures the essence of a real-live boogie and a hoedown.
