Metalwood Studio's Winter Drop Has a Bit of Everything
Metalwood Studio’s latest drop has a little bit of something for everybody – puffer jackets, work pants, knit polos and storm tops. The LA-based brand with a physical location on La Brea Avenue continues to build its uniform of streetwear-inspired essentials with sometimes subtle, and sometimes more overt nods to the “greatest game every played.”
The water resistant Rings Pullover Storm Top, for example, features a large tree ring pattern, while the more elevated Crossline Polo is decorated with a golf grip-inspired traction pattern. For those recently converted golfers, the Crossline is a popular model that grip company Lamkin has been making for 20 years. Similarly, an interconnecting chain motif highlights the wool blend Linkerton Knit Polo. Items like the aforementioned knit polos and Houndstooth Chino Pant see the collection take on a more elevated feel, but Metalwood’s signature graphic tee shirts ensure it stays connected to its roots. The Off-Tour T-Shirt is a play on an often repeated golf marketing line, and the Compressed T-Shirt evokes the crucial moment during the swing when club meets ball.
Check out the full collection on Metalwood Studio’s website as well as global retailers now. Pricing tops out around $240 USD for jackets, while t-shirts are priced at $55 USD.
