Edmonton, Canada, August 13, 2024 - Scheduled to take place over one week in August 2024, the forthcoming C-Tribe Festival & Conference will feature inspiring and thought-provoking talks, pitch competitions, and showcases and performances across the film, fashion, gaming, music, technology and cultural industries.

The collaboration with RBC underscores the shared commitment to inclusivity and community engagement. RBC, a stalwart in financial services, joins forces with C-Tribe to enhance the festival experience through enriched programming and career upskilling opportunities. This collaboration aims to amplify diverse voices and support underestimated communities, aligning with both organizations' missions to build community prosperity for all.

Interactive panels will engage thought leaders in discussions on the future of various industries, focusing on emerging trends and opportunities. Cultural exhibits will highlight the community's rich diversity through art, music, and performances, celebrating creativity in all its forms. Additionally, startup pitch competitions will provide platforms for emerging entrepreneurs to present their ideas to potential investors, allowing them to gain valuable feedback and secure critical funding.

“RBC is committed to strengthening the workforce of tomorrow by equipping our communities with the skills needed for a thriving future,” said Mark Beckles, Vice President, Social Impact & Innovation, at RBC. “With collaborators like C-Tribe, we’re working to provide opportunities and platforms for engagement such as the C-Tribe Festival & Conference which helps drive more equitable prosperity in our communities."

Building on previous collaborations, this approach enhances the festival experience and sets a precedent for how partnerships can catalyze community growth in meaningful ways.”

The C-Tribe Festival & Conference runs from August 13th to 18th across six different venues in the downtown Edmonton area and features over one hundred speakers and performers.
