Nike continues to expand its collaborative catalog each year, bringing in new artists, athletes and brands. However, it also maintains many close relationships with its existing partners, such as the Los Angeles-based shop UNDEFEATED. Sneaker projects between the two have been enjoyed for decades and looking ahead to this year, the duo is set to be back at it with two new colorways of the Air Terra Humara. Following the launch of the first pairs last year, a “Cargo Khaki” look was spotted and is now joined by a “Light Menta” finish that is pictured above. UNDEFEATED and Nike once again make use of the Air Terra Humara’s layered construction by combining a wide variety of materials and colors throughout. A gray mesh base is joined by its signature minty green hue at the rough suede mudguard, nubuck overlays, the speckled midsole and the textured heel. A bright fuchsia enlivens the “PLAY” and “DIRTY” text that returns at the lateral and medial respectively. Elsewhere, the black leather Swooshes see an “UNDFTD” tag attached to the lateral Swoosh while co-branding hits the tongue, heel and sockliner to complete the pair. At the time of writing, neither UNDEFEATED nor Nike have shared release details pertaining to their next Air Terra Humara launch, which is expected to involve this new “Light Menta” look.
