WWE Partners With Streaming Platform to Showcase 5-Minute "Speed" Matches
X has teamed up with the wrestling franchise, WWE, to bring fans speedy matches in just five minutes. This collaboration, known as WWE Speed, signifies a two-year partnership between the two companies. The show will be broadcast weekly throughout the year, featuring exclusive matches from WWE's talented roster. Unlike other WWE fights that may be edited, viewers will get an unfiltered and genuine experience. WWE Speed is set to premiere this spring on X.
X has been actively expanding its sports streaming offerings. The platform recently entered a deal with Fox to showcase content from the FIFA World Cup and has plans to cover the 2024 Paris Olympics in collaboration with NBCUniversal.
Meanwhile, WWE has bright future prospects after merging with UFC last year, rebranding as a new entity called TKO. To further expand its reach, TKO has secured a whopping $5 billion USD deal with Netflix for WWE Raw over the course of ten years.
