Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign's collaborative album, Vultures Volume 1, is poised to claim the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart next week. According to HITS Daily Double, industry projections indicate that Vultures is expected to make its debut with an impressive 140,000 equivalent album units, including 15,000 in album sales. If these predictions hold true, it will mark Kanye West's 11th album to reach No. 1 and Ty Dolla $ign's first on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart.
In addition to the success of Vultures, Usher's latest album, Coming Home, is also set to make a strong debut. Projections suggest that Coming Home will open at No. 3, with an estimated 78,000 equivalent album units and 47,000 in album sales. Usher's album release coincided with his highly anticipated Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, which also boosted his 2004 album, Confessions, to No. 19 on the chart.
